Bush formed in 1992, they are:
Gavin Rossdale - vocals, guitar
Nigel Pulsford - guitar
Dave Parsons - bass
Robin Goodridge - drums
History of the band ....... so far:
Between January and February of 1994, Bush recorded their debut album "Sixteen Stone".
Soon after "Los Angeles" premier rock station, KROQ, began playing the first track "Everything Zen" as well as another track called "Little Things".
The track "Everything Zen" soon becomes the number one record played on KROQ, goes to number one in the college radio charts as well as number one in the Alternative Rock Charts.
In January 1995, Bush's debut album "Sixteen Stone" is released in the USA.
Album sales in the first month in US: 53,749. By July US sales of the album certified platinum by RIAA while another track called "Come down" gets the number one position in the MTV Video Charts.
In December Bush headline at the prestigious KROQ Acoustic Christmas in Los Angeles above Oasis, Lenny Kravitz, Sonic Youth and Alanis Morrisette.
In January 1996, Bush's album "Sixteen Stone" reaches the number 4 spot in the Billboard Top 100.
By February, overall international sales of the album, excluding the USA reached 210,180. Also, US sales certified triple-platinum by RIAA.
Bush performed at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York in September and won the MTV US viewers choice award for best group.
Bush's second album was recorded in the summer of 1996 and is scheduled for release in '97.
