Some very thrilling first round duells brought the riders draw. Last year's winner Marco Grilc (SLO) is up against local hero Peter König (A). Air & Style Beijing winner and X-Games winner Sebastien Toutant (CAN) rides against shooting star . TTR World Tour Champions Peetu Piroiinen (FIN) competes in the first round against the Australian pro Robbie Walker. Austria's hope Werni Stock from the Zillertal also has a tough challenge against Air & Style veteran Antti Autti.

The basic conditions are perfect. The riders and the kicker are in their best shape. Weather for Saturday is looking very good and spontaneous visitors are still able to buy tickets online or saturday at the box office in the Bergisel stadium.

While the temperature dropped below zero the construction of the ramp for the Billabong Air & Style has begun. 280 tons of steel and wood are necessary to build the massive ramp that will allow the 16 world’s best riders to do 1260’s, double corks and spectacular moves to amaze the crowd on February 5th 2011. Compared to the last year the landing grew 2 meters and the riders are able to show their skills on the oversized Burn Energy Drink Can in the end
section.

After the ramp is build, it needs snow. The Stubaier glacier provides more then 700 cubic meters of snow to guarantee a smooth flow of the Swatch 6-Star TTR contest. Up to the first practice jumps on February 2nd about 200 people work onsite to realise the project. VIP, media and the judge compound have to be build as well next to the
infrastructure for the TV-live broadcasting with the 8 cameras. Additionally, 28 tons of equipment are necessary for the perfect sound and lightshow on stage.
