ABOUT AIR & STYLE RECORDS

First, let us tell you a bit about Air & Style Company. This company is the largest snowboarding sports management and promotion company in Europe. Each year for the past five years we promote the biggest snowboard championship show in the
world. It is held in the first weekend of December in Innsbruck Last year, Bush, Ugly Kid Joe and Massive Attack played the main show. The acts this year are Faith No More and Bad Religion. The event is attended by over 30,000 spectators and 400 journalists and results in massive publicity. The event is aired by MTV and approximately 30 other television stations throughout the world, including, Fox Sports Network in the United States, RTL in Germany and Eurosport to name a few. The total coverage reaches over Three Hundred Million viewers worldwide!

We also are promoting another event on January 10, 1997 at the Olympic Hall in Munich in conjunction with VIVA. The event will feature the music of Eskimos in Egypt and Guano Apes and will showcase the best snowboarders in the world. We will also broadcast the event, including the bands performances, throughout the world on over 30 stations. As with the Innsbruck event, the Munich Quarterpipe Challenge will be cybercast live over our web site which is http://www.air-style.com!

Air & Style Records was formed this year by Andrew Hourmont and Dennis Rider. Our first release is „Air & Style, The Ultimate Snowboard Compilation Vol. II", which is a compilation of great music. The bands include Faith No More, Bad Religion, Massive Attack, Placebo, Eskimos & Egypt, the two bands that will appear at the VIVA show in Munich, several new bands on Maverick, Jive, BMG and Virgin as well as six acts from the hip hop and experimental dance scene. The CD is a cool mix of hard stuff and aggressive hip hop-dance music. If you want to order a record, click the icon „Ordering a Record".

The second release on Air & Style Records, „Snowboarder Tunes II" is a continuation of this crazy creative urge that surfaces with too much time in the Alps. This record should be release sometime in January, 1998. We promise this second record will be another great one!
